'Silence' on Kargil being exploited: Sharief

E-Mail this report to a friend

''Certain circles'' in Pakistan have been exploiting his ''silence'' on the Kargil issue, according to deposed Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharief.

He said attempts were being made to force him to disclose the facts.

However, Sharief said he would keep mum as his statements on the issue might not be in national interest.

He was talking to his counsel on the premises of the special court yesterday.
