Varsha Usgaokar weds Ajay

Bollywood star Varsha Usgaokar, a Goan by origin, married Ajay Sharma, son of Pandit Ravi Shankar Sharma at a simple closed-door ceremony in Panaji on Thursday.

The two-day marriage ceremony, held in typical Goan style, was held at Varsha's sister Manisha's residence at Alto-Betim across the Mandovi river in the presence of a select crowd of 250.

Besides close relatives of the bride and the groom, the simple ceremony was attended by Mansoor Khan, Sharma's close friend and cousin of Aamir Khan.

Sharma, a sound engineer running a website on Bollywood, has also directed films in the past including one featuring Varsha.

Though they have known each other for the past eight years, this was purely an arranged marriage, disclosed her close relatives.
