Vanniyar Sangam to support AIADMK in by-poll

The Vanniyar Sangam led by A K Natarajan will campaign for the All India Anna DMK candidates in the January 17 by-elections to three assembly seats in Tamil Nadu.

Natarajan told reporters in Madars that he pledged support to the AIADMK after its president J Jayalalitha sought the sangam's cooperation.

He claimed the Vanniyar Sangam's support would tilt the balance in favour of the AIADMK candidates in all the three constituencies.
