The minister told mediapersons that encouraged by the ISI many minority community militants had started activities in the state which threatened the sovereignty and integrity of the country. Chakraborty appealed to the religious minorities, especially the Bangladeshis who had acquired Indian citizenship, not to provide shelter and help to the ISI and the militants in the greater interests of the state and the country.
