BSF foils suicide attack on HQ: PTI

The squad tried to storm the headquarters at Mamta Hotel, near Khonikhan in Dalgate, around 1700 hours IST, but was confronted by BSF sentries who engaged them at the main gate itself, sources said.

The firing continued for a brief period, in which one of the intruders was killed, while the other escaped.

A BSF jawan who sustained injuries in the exchange of fire was shifted to a hospital, they said.
