Kalyan Singh blasts detractors again

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh has come down heavily on his detractors again, saying he would not change his style of functioning.

Addressing the media, he denied that there was any discontent among the Bharatiya Janata Party workers over his style of functioning. He said, ''There is no attempt to destabilise my government.''

Asked about reports of a signature campaign by the party legislators against him, he categorically denied there was any move to oust him from the post.

Asked if the party workers had been complaining that their grievances were not being redressed, he said, ''There must be some distinction between workers and brokers,'' he shot back.
