Osama 'increasingly playing role' in Kashmir: US

E-Mail this report to a friend

US Assistant Secretary of State Karl Inderfurth has said that Saudi-born terrorist Osama Bin Laden was "increasingly playing a role" in Kashmir, Chechnya and Dagestan.

"He may be the most dangerous but not the only one," Inderfurth said yesterday. "We will dry out his outside support. We are hopeful that the Taliban will try to understand the international community's concern. We are confident we can bring him to justice and it is only a matter of time. We are going to work very hard at it."
