DMK leader killed

An unidentified gang fatally attacked Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam's youth wing leader for Sivaganga, V Ruso, 40, Sunday night.

He died on the way to the Rajaji government hospital, Madurai.

The police found a two-wheeler abandoned by the gang from the spot.

The body has been taken to the Devakottai general hospital for post-mortem.

Tamil Nadu Highway Minister Kiruttinan and Madras Mayor and DMK youth wing leader M K Stalin are expected at the funeral, scheduled for Monday evening.
