Gandhi had a hectic day yesterday with many prominent leaders calling on her and holding discussions. Among those who called on here were members of the Balram Jakhar committee, which studied farmers's suicides in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, Suresh Pachauri who went into the party's debacle in the Lok Sabha poll from Jammu and Kashmir, task force chairman Purno A Sangma, Orissa Chief Minister J B Patnaik and his Deputy Chief Minister Hemanand Biswal who was made PCC chief, Andhra Pradesh PCC chief Mallikarjun, Madhya Pradesh Congress leader Shyama Charan Shukla, West Bengal leader Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi, and Y S Rajasekhara Reddy from Andhra Pradesh . Apart from them, party general secretaries Meira Kumar and R K Dhawan also called on her.
