Nikhilananda Sar of the CPI-M beats Shanti Roy of the BJP, by 272,253 votes to retain the Burdwan seat.

Bipsingh Mahato (FB) wins the Purulia seat. Mahato beat Nepal Mahato (Congress) by 15,560 votes.
