Jaya will attend Saturday's meeting of BJP allies

All India Anna DMK general secretary J Jayalalitha will attend the coordination committee meeting of the constituents in the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government, at Delhi on June 27, party sources said.

Jayalalitha, who is leaving for Delhi tomorrow evening, is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister A B Vajpayee and Home Minister L K Advani on that day.

Relations between the AIADMK and the BJP have soured since the Vajpayee government has not conceded her demand for the dismissal of the Karunanidhi government in Tamil Nadu so far. Advani had stated that his party had, at no time, given any assurance to Jayalalitha on the dismissal of the DMK government.

Jayalalitha's scathing attack on the BJP leadership, particularly Advani, on Tuesday for refusing to concede her demand and her charge that the BJP leadership was suffering from "selective amnesia" had given rise to speculation that she might not attend the coordination committee meeting.
