The grand old man of polls passes awayKaka Joginder Singh alias Dhartipakar, who contested a record number of elections, died in a hospital in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly Wednesday morning. He was 80. Family members said Kaka was hospitalised after an attack of paralysis on December 19. He had contested 350 elections, including those for presidency, to the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, Vidhan Sabha and Vidhan Parishad. He breathed his last at 0600 hours. UNI
