War has emerged as one of Yash Raj Films' biggest hits.

This is Hrithik's second hit this year, after Super 30.

Joginder Tuteja looks at Hrithik's biggest hits over the years.

*Numbers have not been adjusted for inflation.

War
Box office collection: Rs 350 crore (expected)

War was always meant to be special, and Hrithik ensured he looked super gorgeous in it. It was a role written for him, with good amounts of action and dance thrown in.

It might just become a franchise now.

Super 30's release was postponed a few times after it saw controversy.

The film ended up with a solid run, thanks to good reviews and positive word-of-mouth.

Well, he brought his own nuances into play and ensured that audiences went back entertained.

Kaabil
Box office collection: Rs 103.84 crore

Playing a blind man plotting revenge, Kaabil saw Hrithik in an unusual role.

The action thriller would have been an even bigger success had it not released on the same day as Shah Rukh Khan's Raees.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Box office collection: Rs 90.27 crore

Hrithik, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Katrina and Kalki Koechlin featured in Zoya Akhtar's film which had fine performances and chartbuster songs.

The multiplex film enticed audiences in big cities, and missed entering the Rs 100 crore club by a whisker.

Dhoom: 2
Box office collection: Rs 82 crore

Hrithik tried his hand at playing the anti-hero in Dhoom 2, who gets to bag the loot and the girl.

Also starring Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Aishwarya Rai, the sequel was a bigger hit than the first in the series, Dhoom.

Jodhaa Akbar

Just a few films old, Hrithik shone bright in the starry venture.

Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai
Box office collection: Rs 44.28 crore

The film that started it all.

Rakesh Roshan launched his son with Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, but even he didn't expect the film to go as far as it did.

Hrithik became an overnight star, and KNPK reached blockbuster status.

No actor has enjoyed such a smash debut since.
