Movie promotion these days is not restricted to television promos and billboards.
Actors seem more keen to promote the films that they work so hard on.
So the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara team decided to go for a four-day promotional road trip from Mumbai to Delhi, taking a leaf from the film itself which sees them on a similar trip in Spain.
The actors -- Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and Katrina Kaif -- and director Zoya Akhtar assembled at Bandra's Mehboob Studios in the early hours of July 7 to kick off the road trip.
A few hours into the journey, Farhan tweeted a picture of himself and Hrithik admiring nature (above) in Ahmedabad.
Hrithik also tweeted a picture of the ZNMD team squeezed into the car they were driving in, a Range Rover SUV (left).
The actors claimed that they wanted to drive as much as possible, to get the 'real' feeling of a road trip.
Kalki Koechlin, who also stars in the film, gave the road trip a miss as she was unwell. But she turned up to flag them off.
The first big stopover for the team was Surat, which is about four hours from Mumbai.
The team took with them food, water, books and Ipods to entertain them on the road, starting with Lenny Kravitz.
The team will be stopping at various cities in Gujarat and Rajasthan before they reach Delhi. The return journey will be by flight.
ZNMD will release on July 15.
