passed away into the ages on Sunday, December 4.
We remember the legend through his fabulous songs.
Abhi Na Jao Chhodkar, Hum Dono (1965)
One of Dev Anand's most romantic songs, Abhi Na Jao Chodkar was sung by Mohammed Rafi and Asha Bhosle.

Dev Anand looked dashing, as he serenaded his lady, Sadhana. The song has many layers in it. As the film unfolds, Sadhana has no choice but to leave and then come back for a happy ending.
Dev Anand acted and produced Hum Dono. It was written by his brother Vijay Anand and directed by Amarjeet, who worked in Dev Anand's production house Navketan studios.
Mana Janaab Ne Pukara Nahi, Paying Guest (1957)

S D Burman's music and Kishore Kumar's voice made a terrific combination in this song. But it was Dev Anand who made the song stylish, and even more popular.
He made a charming couple with Nutan.

Dev Anand had a very good ear for music, and knew just too well how to select songs for his film. He made sure this song --composed by S D Burman and song by Mohammed Rafi -- was a winner.
Kala Bazar was written and directed by Vijay Anand, who also acted in the film.
