Dev Anand has left behind a legacy of memorable films and songs for us to remember him by.

Dev Anand is his usual charming self while Vyjayantimala looks regal in the song. Composer S D Burman fuses magic in this song with a unique blend of classical and lilting tunes.

Composed by Shankar-Jaikishan, Mohammed Rafi's silky voice compliments the mood of the song.
The song also had a female version which was sung by Lata Mangeshkar.

Dev Anand sings of his sadness over a misunderstanding that's separated him from his beloved.
Ruk Jaana O Jaana, Warrant (1975)

The song is picturised on Anand and his love -- Zeenat Aman.
Disguised with a fake moustache and a cap, Anand arrives in a bulldozer to stop his angry girlfriend who's trying to get away from him.
Panna Ki Tamanna Hai, Heera Panna (1973)

Heera Panna was one of the many films that Dev Anand wrote, produced and directed for his home production Navketan films.
In the song sequence, Zeenat Aman is trying to implicate Dev Anand in a robbery case while actually both of them are trying to outwit each other. The lyrics of the song give away the actual situation in the song.
The film's music was composed by R D Burman while the song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar.
Yeh Raat Yeh Chandni Phir Kahan, Jaal (1952)

Anand and Guru Dutt were good friends and this was their second film together.
The song, sung by Hemant Kumar, beautifully captures the longing of a man for his lover while he tries to catch her attention.
Sahir Ludhianvi lends his magical words to the song composed by S D Burman.

Leading lady Mumtaz and Dev Anand vow to never part as they happily cycle through scenic fields. The film was written and directed by Vijay Anand. Hema Malini did a cameo in the film just because of her rapport with Dev Anand.

Dev Anand's brothers Vijay Anand and Chetan Anand had special appearances in the film. Nanda played Dev Anand's sister.

This film had Mohammed Rafi and Kishore both singing for Dev Anand, both of their voices complimented Anand.
Chudi Nahi Hai Mera Dil Hai, from the same film and sung by Kishore Kumar, accentuates Dev Anand's playful demeanour.
