Singham
Release: July 22
Cast: Ajay Devgn, Kajal Agarwal, Prakash Raj
Director: Rohit Shetty
Rohit Shetty started his directorial career with action, with Zameen (2003), but since then, he's always dabbled with comedy.
This week, he's returns to action with Singham. The trailer shows a beefed-up Ajay Devgn smash his enemies to pulp, and even has the time to sing and dance.
Gandhi to Hitler
Release: July 29
Cast: Raghubir Yadav, Neha Dhupia, Avijit Dutt
Director: Rakesh Ranjan Kumar
Set during the World War II, the film is based on letters written by Mahatma Gandhi to Adolf Hitler. It takes a look at the differences in the ideologies of the two world leaders.
Raghubir Yadav plays Hitler, Neha Dhupia plays his lover Eva Braun and Avijit Dutt plays Gandhi. The trailer looks interesting, let's see how the film turns out.
Chala Mussaddi Office Office
Release: August 5
Cast: Pankaj Kapoor, Deven Bhojani, Manoj Pahwa, Sanjay Mishra
Director: Rajiv Mehra
Based on the popular television series Office Office, the film takes a look at the common man's plight when he has to deal with corruption and bribery in government offices.
Pankaj Kapur returns to film as Mussaddilal, who has to contend with greedy officials to get his work done.
Aarakshan
Release: August 12
Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Manoj Bajpai and Prateik Babbar.
Director: Prakash Jha
As the title suggests, Aarakshan deals with reservation in government jobs and educational institutions.
Like most of Prakash Jha's films, it takes a stand on a social issue, and may even do a good job of it.
Not A Love Story
Release: August 19
Cast: Mahie Gill, Deepak Dobriyal, Ajay Gehi
Director: Ram Gopal Varma
Not a Love Story is a crime thriller, based on the gruesome murder of Neeraj Grover by Emile Jerome, aided by his girlfriend Maria Susairaj.
However, RGV claimed that this film was not a biopic of the Neeraj Grover case but was inspired by it.
Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande

Cast: Parvin Dabas, Sharat Saxena, Vansh Bharadwaj, Anupam Kher, Ashish Nayyar, Kuldip Ruhil
Director: Parvin Dabas
Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande is the story of four friends -- Parvin Dabas, Vansh Bharadwaj, Ashish Nayyar and Kuldip Ruhil.
They want to make easy money to make their dreams come true, and get into the wrong business.
The film stars a bunch of almost unknown actors but the trailer makes it look good.
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan
Release: September 9
Cast: Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ali Zafar
Director: Ali Abbas Zafar
Inspired by Hollywood film, Dan in Real Life, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is about a man who is in search of a bride for his older brother. But when he finally finds her, he falls in love with her himself.
Imran and Katrina look good together, making us wonder why they took so long to be cast in a film.
Force
Release: September 16
Cast: John Abraham, Genelia D'Souza
Director: Nishikanth Kamath
John Abraham puts on a hunky muscular look in this action movie, as he gets ready to play a cop. While he can be rough and bash up the villains to a pulp, he can be just as gentle with his girl, Genelia.
A remake of the Tamil hit Kaakha Kaakha (2003), Force is Nishikanth's second Hindi film after the well-reviewed Mumbai Meri Jaan.
Mausam
Release: September 16
Cast: Shahid Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak
Director: Pankaj Kapur
With Mausam, Pankaj Kapur spreads his wings from acting to direction. He directs his son, Shahid, who plays an air force pilot. There were a lot of stories floating in the air about his strict discipline on the sets, but the trailer seems to be well worth it.
Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster

Cast: Jimmy Shergil, Mahie Gill, Randeep Hooda
Director: Tigmanshu Dhulia
As the name suggests, the film is a triangular love story of a married woman, who falls in love with a gangster. The film is an action thriller, and with a director like Dhulia behind it, carries much promise.
Ra.One
Release: October 26
Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal
Director: Anubhav Sinha
Shah Rukh's first release of the year, and that too, as a superhero, makes it one of the most anticipated movies of 2011. The trailer looks slick, and has some great special effects.
The film also stars Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal.
My Friend Pinto
Release: October
Cast: Prateik Babbar, Kalki Koechlin, Arjun Mathur, Shruti Seth.
Director: Raaghav Dar
Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, My Friend Pinto is based on Michael Pinto, played by Parteik, who cannot seem to do anything right.
Don 2: The Chase Continues
Release: December 23
Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, Lara Dutta, Kunal Kapoor, Om Puri
Director: Farhan Akhtar
A sequel to the 2006 film, Don 2: The Chase Continues starts with the don escaping from prison. A superstar cast, a great director and a slick promo, and the film looks like a winner already.
