The Artist, The Descendants, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, The Help, Hugo, Midnight in Paris, Moneyball, The Tree of Life, War Horse

What do Katherine Hepburn, Jack Nicholson and Tom Hanks have in common? They all won multiple Academy awards.

Glorious careers, these.

Except as much one appreciates their tour de force performances that challenges the very title 'career best' with every subsequent film, after numerous nominations and wins a sense of monotony and deja vu begins to set in. And that's when the need to witness an 'underdog' moment, wherein an unexpected but well-deserved candidate nabs the coveted Oscar.

Like the time first-time nominee Cuba Gooding Jr beat the likes of James Woods, Edward Norton and William H Macy to win the Best Supporting Actor for Jerry Maguire.

The upshot was one of the most memorably emotional, enthusiastic speeches of all times. Or director Roman Polanski's triumph over favourites Rob Marshall (Chicago) and Stephen Daldry (The Hours) to receive top honors for The Pianist.

Here then, is your chance to pick the least deserving nomination of the 84th Academy Awards among the top six categories. VOTE now!
