The twitter world is quite a busy one, and Bollywood contributes a great deal to it. Here's looking at the best  star tweets of the day.

It looks like Diwali and the New Year has rung in new movies for our stars.

Abhishek Bachchan started shooting for the remake of The Italian Job in Goa. 'am shooting for PLAYERS directed by Abbas Mustan. starring Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha, Sikandar, Neil, Omi vaidya and bobby deol,' he tweeted.

Co-star Sonam Kapoor tweeted her bit as well: 'Dancing with @juniorbachchan both of us are trying to make our long limbs shake gracefully.'

Akshay Kumar started work on Desi Boyz with John Abraham. He tweeted: 'New Year! New Movie! Jus startd shootin Desi Boyz wiv my old flirt from Garam Masala dayz Big John ;)'

His co-star Deepika Padukone tweeted: 'Day one of #desi boyz with akshay and john...super excited!wish us luck guys:-)'

Shabana Azmi used the social platform to congratulate Boney Kapoor's son Arjun, who bagged three films with Yash Raj Films. 'Mother India Mona Kapoorji Congratulations on son Arjun bagging 3 films with YashRaj on his own merit.bahut saari duayein,' she tweeted.

Dostana director Tarun Mansukhani is betting his money and eyeballs on the new Deol production. He tweeted, 'Hey Guys, check out the promo for 'Yamla Pagla Deewana' on youtube.... Its howlarious!! Now that's a film I want to see!!!!'

Neil Nitin Mukesh chose Golmaal 3 over the other Diwali release, Action Replayy. 'Saw golmaal 3. What a totally awesome and hilarious film. Loved the entire cast specially mr johnny lever and mithun da!'

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra had a 'wicked' evening in London. 'Awesome evening. Watched the show 'wicked' with mom my friend natasha, kabir and udaychopra ! Super fun evening. Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar and Aamir Khan were Bollywood's representatives at the dinner for US President Barrack Obama on Monday night.

Azmi tweeted in her tongue-n-cheek fashion, 'Guys I'm not a reporter n hve no intentions of describing d menu clothes etc of Obama dinner at PM.yes all guests did speak 2 Prez n wife.'

But later, she relented, and shared her emotions on the occasion. 'India used 2 b recipient of USA aid 2 day we r in a position 2 provide jobs 2 USA so a confident India welcomes Obama with her head held hi'

Well, lets hope Javed Akhtar and Aamir Khan are more eloquent on the matter!
