Back from Cannes, Sonam celebrates with grandmom

Sonam Kapoor and sister Rhea Kapoor celebrated their grandmother's birthday on Sunday, and the latter tweeted a picture with the three of them (left).

'Happy birthday nani!! Love you!' the sisters tweeted.

Meanwhile, Sushmita Sen celebrated 17 years of winning the Miss Universe title on Saturday. 'Thank u sooooooo much my darling friends 4 remembering d lanky tall girl 17yrs later..I 2 celebrate this day with u in honor of our country! For me..It will always remain a privilege n an honor to have brought INDIA it's first ever Miss Universe Victory!! Proud to be an Indian:))' she tweeted.

Writer and columnist Shobhaa De took a dig at Minissha Lamba, who had been detained by the customs officials at Mumbai airport for carrying undeclared gold and diamond jewellery.

Criticizing the actress, Shobha De had tweeted: 'Poor Minissha:Lamba race ki ghodi or lame duck?Warning to other Bollywood wannabes to leave those borrowed rocks at home.Dazzle wt yr talent'

Minissha did not take De's words kindly, and tweeted her reply: 'Ms De, real writers write books. Slandering on #Twitter is a job of the less gifted. 'Dazzle with your talent' Ms.De, Not ur slander ;)'

Minissha, meanwhile, spotted an Amul ad campaign (above) about her detention from the airport and found it hilarious. 'This is hilarious!!' she tweeted.

If reports are to be believed, A R Rahman is all set to form a band with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger. The band is named Super Heavy, featuring Rahman, Mick Jagger, Eurythmics guitarist Dave Stewart, singer Joss Stone, and Bob Marley's son Damian Marley.

It would be the first time that Jagger will associate with any other band nearly after 50 years of forming of the Rolling Stones.

Rahman confirmed the news that they're working on some pieces together. He tweeted: '18 months ago Dave Stewart, Mick Jagger,  Damien Marley, Joss Stone and me experimented at a studio in Los Angeles, trying to write songs which had meaning...We had a couple of more sessions after that tying to perfect every song that was written and presently we have around 16 to 18 songs and all the songs have a world sound by contributions from all of us. Dave's and Mick's incredible musicality and Joss' soul singing, Damien Marley's Jamaican influence and philosophies and me bringing musicality from my world. It's all too early to talk about this but I guess you guys should know something atleast.'

After spending a day in Mumbai, Bipasha Basu took off to London. 'Spent n amazing day in Mumbai n now off 2 London!Been in xtreme weather between orchha gwalior russia mumbai in d last 3 months!Hot n Cold! So looking forward to London, I hear its pleasant weather:)' she tweeted.

Meanwhile, Ameesha Patel was jetlagged from her six-day trip to London. 'Jetlagged.. Just back from a short 6 day trip to london.. Can't sleep..tweeting some pictures of london trip,' she wrote.

Lara Dutta is off for Paris. 'G'mornin folks! Its a busy Sunday! In Delhi for the day and then off to Paris tonight! Unpack, pack and away we go!!!' she tweeted.

Juhi Chawla is in distress about her brother Bobby's condition. Bobby was the CEO of Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. He suffered a massive stroke while having dinner at a restaurant last year and has been in coma ever since.

The actress went to the hospital to meet her brother but couldn't bare to see him. 'I have come to the ambani hospital after 4 months to meet a doctor .. But I just have nt the nerve to go see my brother ... My brother is still up here in the I c u ... I'm sitting in the prayer room downstairs . I'd cried and cried .. Several times here..Begging for my brother to be revived ...but he s still here ..in a sad state ...and I'm so scared to see him ..I don't go .... I see the pictures of all these gods on the wall here ...for months I cried and lit lamps and begged and pleaded ...ran pillar to post .. Whyyyyy no mercy ???? If not for me .. For my brother ..my brother is a sweetheart .. Honest to a fault ..selfless ..loyal ..fun loving .. A friends friend ...I cannot say enough good things about him .... Whhhyyy him ??!!!! And if god wants why doesn t he take him away ... Why leave him hanging between life and death ... What is this bakwas !!!!!!! Complete nonsense .. Unfair life !!!!!!! ' she tweeted.

Later, she finally gathered the courage to meet her brother.

'Yesterday I stepped into the hosp after 4 months ! I didn't want to go .. I dreaded it .. I didn't want to see my brother deteriorate. I thought of bobby all the time and prayed for him ..but see him like this .. Too Painful...yesterday thanks to a doctor and my sis in Law s talk ...I gathered courage..met bobby ..and broke down ..but by God s grace..He looked a little better ... I hope he wakes up ..God,' she added later.

Akshay Kumar had some fun moments with John Abraham in his van. 'Me & John hidin in my van plotting some Legendary DESI BOYZ Beats... All i can say is 'wait & watch' coz Ladies the BOYZ are back in town :)' he tweeted.

Mallika Sherawat, on the other hand, met the co-founder of Microsoft at his submarine. 'a true gentlemen, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen:) He invited me on his submarine, tweeps!!' she wrote.
