In its five seasons of existence, reality show Bigg Boss has had five different hosts. From funnyman Arshad Warsi to actor extraordinaire Amitabh Bachchan, all of them have lent their own special characteristics to the show.
But which host has been the best entertainer so far? Read on and vote for your favourite at the end of this slide show!
Sanjay Dutt
Sanjay Dutt has taken over from buddy Salman Khan as the host of the reality show for its fifth season. While Salman was present at the inaugural episode and will make appearances periodically through the season, Dutt has been pretty much left to his own devices for now.
And the actor seems to be struggling a bit. He's a little dazed and tongue-tied at times. As our review observed, Sanjay Dutt would have been happier and more comfortable being in Salman's shadow.
Salman Khan

Basking in the Wanted glory, Salman played to the gallery with his antics and signature moves, contributing a great deal to the season's success.
Amitabh Bachchan

The Big B assumed the role of a voice of reason for the house inmates. Bickering participants would be at their best behavior and courteous as soon as the host flashed on their screen.
Shilpa Shetty
Image: Shilpa ShettyThe second season saw Shilpa Shetty take over the anchoring gig. The actress was picture perfect, like she always is, but interestingly an aberration in a madcap reality show like Bigg Boss.
The glam doll image and polite conversations didn't quite go with the show's temperament.
Arshad Warsi
Image: Arshad WarsiHaving proved his acting prowess as the endearing and hilarious sidekick Circuit in Rajkumar Hirani's Munnabhai MBBS, Arshad Warsi forayed in anchoring with the very first season of Bigg Boss.
His wisecracks and easy manner tempered with all the drama in the house worked well for the first season.
