Meet the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 contestants

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is back for its fourth season with an interesting line up of celebrities.

Judging the reality show, which kick-starts on Sony Entertainment Television from December 13, is the very talented Madhuri Dixit, joined by choreographer Remo D'Souza and item girl Malaika Arora Khan.

Mona Singh and Sumeet Raghavan will host the show.

So who are the 12 contestants? We take a look.

Yana Gupta

Yana, who was recently in the news for her no panty show during an event, has shown us that she can dance -- remember her item number Babuji Zara Dheere?

Plus, she is fearless, something which served her well when she participated in the first season of Fear Factor -- Kathron Ki Khiladi.

It will be interesting to see how this Czech fares on the dance floor.

Govinda's niece may not be a stranger to the arc lights, having acted in soaps like Sasural Genda Phool, Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi and Bhaskar Bharti. But this would be her first dancing reality show. Considering she is Govinda's niece, it would be interesting to see her dance moves.

Better known as Nakusha in the soap Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Mahivij, who recently got engaged to actor Jay Bhanushali has danced at various award functions before. But this would be her first reality show.

Another first timer to the dance floor is Renuka Shahane, who famously played Madhuri's sister in the blockbuster movie Hum Aapke Hain Koun...!.

Wonder if Madhuri gave her any dancing tips.

Most of you may know Ankita as Archana in the soap Pavithra Rishta.

She has performed at various events but this is the first time that she will dance on national television.

This Indian Idol contestant and host proved that he could sing and act (his acting debut was Badmaash Company).

Now, we'll just have to see if he can dance as well.

He has won several international and national boxing awards but something tells us that dancing may be this sportsman's toughest challenge yet.

After taking part in Nach Baliye, Krushna sets his sights on Jhalak. It would be interesting to see Krushna taking on his cousin Ragini Khanna.

Considered by many as the Sunny Deol of television for his tough cop image on the show CID, Daya is all set to groove to some Bollywood hit numbers.

The slim singer, veejay and winner of Fear Khatron KeKhiladi level 2 is looking forward to her latest challenge -- dance. So are we. 

After watching him on Zara Nach Ke Dikha, we know that Sushant can dance. It will be fin to watch the Pavithra Rishta star compete with his co-star Ankita Lokhande.

Shekhar is more of a funny man. Whether he can dance is another matter. Can't wait to see the host of Movers 'n' Shakers in action.
