Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise, who is on a promotional spree for his upcoming action film Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol, landed in New Delhi on way to Agra.The actor is accompanied by Anil Kapoor, his co-star in the film to visit the Taj Mahal. It is Cruise's first visit to India.

Cruise, 49, looking dapper in a white t-shirt and khaki pants, arrived at 6 am and checked into a hotel.

Cruise is on his maiden visit to India to promote his latest movie Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol ahead of its official world premiere next week
"Tom has arrived. He is in Delhi. He will be in Mumbai by late evening on Saturday. There after he will attend a party at co-actor Anil Kapoor's house," sources told PTI.

Cruise along with Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor and Viacom 18 will host the biggest India's fan screening in Mumbai where the admirers of the international actor will get a chance to see the film.MI:4 marks the return of the Hollywood superstar as secret agent Ethan Hunt. Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor plays an Indian business tycoon Brij Nath in the film.

"The screening will be held tomorrow afternoon at a theatre in suburban Wadala. And then there will be red carpet event where lot of Bollywood celebrities are expected," the source said. About 1,500 people will get a chance to see the film with the visiting actor two weeks before its release in India.

The film releases in India on December 16 in 2D and Imax-3D.

Cruise is later scheduled to fly to Dubai for the world premier of his film at the 8th Dubai International Film Festival on December 7.
