Popular men's site AskMen.com put together a list of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women of the New Year, asking men to rate women on their qualities as an ideal wife or girlfriend.

Here are the results, in reverse order.

Supermodel Miranda Kerr, best known as one of Victoria's Secret Angels, ranks at number 10 on the list. With a hot bod like hers, it's no wonder that Kerr continues to shed her clothes in almost every opportunity she gets.

The 26-year-old appeared in her first nude shoot on the cover of Australian Rolling Stone magazine. Since then, erotic shots have been published for the latest Pirelli calendar.

Small wonder that boyfriend actor Orlando Bloom wants to marry her ASAP.

Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio has achieved the impossible -- she got back to her sexy shape just a couple of months after giving birth.

The 27-year-old Brazilian bombshell lost 20 pounds to get back to her pre-baby shape which she showed off at the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show.

Ambrosio gave birth to her daughter Anja less than three months back, and it was even more difficult for her to get those rock hard abdominals as she'd had a Cesarean section.

We can't think of anyone more deserving to be on this list.

We wonder what Kate would make out of this latest announcement. After all, she did find it 'mortifying' to have been named the Sexiest Woman Alive last year.

The 36-year-old Van Helsing star, who was awarded the moniker by Esquire magazine last year, revealed she was still coming to terms with the new title.

'It's such a nice thing to happen and then immediately it's mortifying," News.com.au quoted her as saying. 'Somebody came up to me in the street and went 'are you the sexiest woman alive?' and I went 'yes' and then I thought 'errrggh... I can't say yes to that! I should be shot on sight for that, it's awful!'

Looking like Marisa ain't easy.

The Victoria's Secret supermodel said that she worked hard to regain her bikini body after gaining weight following her marriage with Hollywood producer Griffin Guess.

The beauty had ranked number one in the Maxim's 2008 Hot 100 list, and even featured in the cover of Sports Illustrated.

'I put on a lot of weight after getting married. My husband is really tall and skinny and can eat whatever he wants,' Fox News quoted her as saying.

The 31-year-old added: 'Of course I thought I could eat whatever I want to, but no, it doesn't work like that.'

Drumrolls, please. And the Most Desirable Woman of 2010 is the Entourage star.

The Canadian actress is no stranger to the hot lists. She was named number 37 in Maxim magazine's annual Hot 100 list in 2006.
