Excitement is the purpose of most movies. And the possibility of curious life forms in an alternate universe provides the most thrilling elements in a science fiction movie.
From Ridley Scott to Rakesh Roshan, everyone has tried to explore the myth with success.
Although since they are not an identified lot, the extraterrestrial community is free for creative interpretation. While the ones in Alien, Prometheus or Critters range from creepy to gross, there's no dearth of delightful designs as well.
