Let me state upfront that Rahul Khanna's tweets are so interesting that this good looking actor could well have been an award-winning writer rather than an actor.
The actor's tweets border on the sexual, raunchy and come-hither darlings. Be it him calling British food writer Nigella Lawson yummy or even his picture update on the 'satisfaction' at his bank, he is wit personified.
My favourite of his postings has got to be, 'It's ironic that Valentine's Day has the same initials as what I'm sure many have contracted as a result of it.'
So cynical.
If you didn't get the joke, this one may make you smile: 'Today I discovered there really is no dignified way to react when painters suddenly appear on scaffolding outside your bathroom window.'
If women are more up your alley, then brace yourself for Lara Dutta's honesty.
She says it elegantly about how she would rather work with Amitabh Bachchan if she had to choose between him and Aamir -- because he's more experienced and hence, better. Nice touch that!
She's on a holiday in Dubai with her sister and nieces -- just in case you were into celeb spotting.
Her favourite ice cream flavour is cookies and cream and sitaphal. She's scared of loneliness and lizards. Her favourite book is Little Women and the one country she wants to visit is Ulang Bator in Mongolia!
Unchained Melody is her favourite song. When she's Blue (pun intended), she likes to dance, put on some music and sing loudly.
Her advice to her fans before signing off: 'Have fun! B safe! Smile, brush ur teeth, say a prayer, call ur mom!'
Is there anything you would now like to ask Lara Dutta that you don't still know?
Just in case you were wondering what the deal with Barbara Mori and a certain Mr Roshan is, I suggest you check the tweets between his wife Susanne and Barbara. The two are certainly making plans to tour the world together and the love between these Chiquita's in their tweets is sugar sweet.
Sample this: Barbara to Susanne and Hrithik: 'hey chiquitos!!!! jajaja now u are on twitter!!! missing us from this part of the world....but see us soon!!! :)'
Susanne says to Barbara: 'hola chiquita... hey sending u a big hug from india and all my followers...hey tweeple my beautiful friend who is coming back to india in may...she is faaaaaabbbbb in kites.'
What can one say? Too much love? Or superb promotion for a forthcoming movie? Or making up in public? You decide.
Supertweeter Abhishek Bachchan is demanding an apology from a Mumbai tabloid for misreporting facts on Ash's supposed TB infection.
His tweet: 'Thank you all for all that you are doing. MM still doesn't apologize. and we won't stop demanding it! when you're wrong, YOU ARE WRONG!!!'
What I prefer are his wry and witty tweets of 'how his producer is torturing him by hiding the coffee' or even the one which says, 'A heads-up to all the actors out there. don't even think of doing a 7 page scene when you've only had 3 hours of sleep!!! NOT FUN.'
Dimply pal Preity Zinta, on the other hand, is saying that films will have to wait post the Indian Premier League.
Sorry to be catty, but does Ms Zinta need a reality check or what?
Maybe we should end with Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan, given the way their latest film My Name is Khan's run may be slowing down in India and abroad?
Johar says that he is 'going to direct soon.'
'I normally take a long break but this time I am all set to make my next... I am oscillating between two ideas,' he tweets.
Karan, may we please beg you to let SRK be? He's already had a weak heart, then a broken leg, now Asperger's syndrome. We don't want to see him in the wheelchair next.
SRK, in his typical Scorpion style, is simply awesome. Of his responses and tweets to over 1.6 lakh followers, he says, 'There comes a stage while growing ur hair that everyone thinks u r a Neanderthal on shampoo. Hate it. This time going for short, short hair.'
I'm sure all his 1.6 lakh followers would be happy to lend him some of their shampoo. And he seems to have also got his beauty tips all worked out. "I mix 3 perfumes at least never use 1,' he tweets.
So if you wanna smell like SRK, you know what to do.
By the way, both Karan Johar and Shah Rukh loved this week's release Karthik Calling Karthik. Here's what SRK tweeted: 'Saw KCK. really fine film. farhan too good, deepika wonderful.'
Let's wait and find out on February 26.
