Whitney Houston's accidental death in February has been voted as the biggest OMG (Oh My Gosh) celebrity headline in the first half of 2012, according to a new survey.

Parade Magazine and Yahoo! celebrity gossip site omg! teamed up for a 2012 summer pop culture poll and found that Houston's drowning in a Beverly Hills hotel bathtub was the biggest headline of the year so far, earning 50 percent of the votes, Stuff.co.nz reported.

Here's looking at the three other OMG headlines that made it to the list.

The Kristen Stewart cheating scandal

The runner-up headline was Twilight actress Kristen Stewart's confession that she cheated on Robert Pattinson, which got 21 percent of the votes.

The actress issued a public apology to her fans and Pattinson in which she confessed to having had a fling with her 41-year-old Snowhite And The Huntsmen director Rupert Sanders.

The Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes slit

The couple edged out another big break-up -- the divorce of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, which scored 14 percent of votes in the shock factor stakes.

Holmes filed for divorce in California while Cruise was in Iceland shooting for his new film and asked for full custody of their daughter, Suri Cruise.

The case was promptly settled with Holmes getting a modest amount in alimony.

Snooki, Demi Moore, Brangelina

Rounding out the list was Jersey Shore star Snooki aka Nicole Polizzi announcing her pregnancy (6 percent).

She gave birth to her son Lorenzo on August 26.

The other OMG moments were CNN anchor Anderson Cooper's declaration that he is gay, actress Demi Moore seeking treatment in rehab, and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie getting engaged, each earned 3 percent.
