Tragic love stories usually do well in Bollywood, like the recent release Gunday, starring Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor.
The film is fast jogging to the Rs 100 crore benchmark.
In the past also, romantic tragedies like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Ek Duje Ke Liye, Mughal-e-Azam and Sadma have done really well at the box office.
