Bobby Deol, who stars in this week's release Thank You, gets friendly with an elephant that was brought in for the film's premiere at Chandan theatre in Juhu, a western suburb of Mumbai, on Wednesday.
The producers of the film had organised a public preview in order to reach out to more people. The elephant was brought in keeping in mind the wedding theme of the premiere.
Filmmakers Vishal Bhardwaj and Amol Gupte unveiled the first look of Gupte's new directorial venture, Stanley Ka Dabba at Mehboob Studio in Bandra, a western suburb of Mumbai.
The film is being made under Gupte's banner Amol Gupte Cinema Pvt Ltd. and stars Divya Dutta, Raj Zutshi, Rahul Singh, Divya Jagdal among others.
Gupte was to make his directorial debut with Taare Zameen Par but it was later directed by Aamir Khan.
India International Film Awards (IIFA) and Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) announced a collaboration to host a tribute to cinema legend Raj Kapoor at JW Mariott in Juhu, a western suburb of Mumbai.
The tribute will be followed by a retrospective film series called Raj Kapoor and the Golden Age of Indian Cinema, which will run for six weeks at the TIFF Bell Lightbox, TIFF's permanent home.
