They say our most impressionable years are spent in school, learning some of the earliest life lessons, as we navigate our way outside the protective confines of our family.

School life becomes a memory, when we move on to bigger milestones in life, but they have a huge deal to do with who we become when we grow up.

We celebrate Teacher's Day by looking at some of the schools our beloved Bollywood stars went to.

Shah Rukh Khan, St Columbas School, New Delhi

Before he became Bollywood's reigning star, Shah Rukh Khan excelled as a student at academics and sports in St Columbas School in New Delhi.

The Chennai Express actor studied Economics at Hansraj College before he made his way to Mumbai.

Salman Khan (The Scindia School, Gwalior)

Scriptwriter Salim Khan's eldest son and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was enrolled in the Scindia School in Gwalior. Younger brother Arbaaz followed suit.

Salman was later enrolled in St Stanislaus High School in Bandra, a western Mumbai suburb, where he now lives with his family.
