Arya weds Nayanthara

With the news of an affair between Arya and Nayanthara doing the round for some time, the makers of the film Raja Rani perhaps tried to capitalise on it.

An invitation for the wedding of Arya with Nayanthara on May 11 at 9 pm indeed fooled many in Tamil Nadu and Andhra.

It was one of the most innovative promotions of a film using the real names of the actors and not the characters in the film.

It was of course an invitation to launch the first look of the film Raja Rani produced by Fox Sudios and co-produced by A R Murugadoss. The film is directed by Atlee Kumar, an associate of A R Murgadoss.

Anyway, the invitation gave the film enough eyeballs; the teaser of the film got 2.5 lakh hits in a single day on YouTube.

RGV launches Naanthanda trailer in Chennai

Director Ram Gopal Varma was in Chennai to launch the trailer of his film Naanthanda starring Sarwanand and Anaika.

RGV said that the title similar to how he introduced  Siva a decade and a half back. "The protagonist of my film is the representative of today's generation where the hero proclaims, Naanthaanda ascertaining his superiority."

Sarwanand is well known in Tamil after the success of his film Engeyum Eppothum.
