Mamas' Cinema Company releases today

After the success of his maiden venture Pappi Appacha, director Mamas went on an extensive search to select nine new faces for his next film titled Cinema Company.

The nine actors were selected from 17,000 entries, and now Mamas is waiting with crossed fingers as his film releases in theatres today (July 27).

"It was never an easy process but we knew what we were looking for. I am happy with the group of youngsters that we selected," says the writer-director.

In Cinema Company, four friends, Paul (Basil), Fazal (Badri), Panicker (Sanjeev) and Paru (Sruthi) come together to make the movie.

Rajeev (Nithin), Reena (Swasika), Roshni (Lakshmi Nair), Fasna (Shibila) and Deepika (Sanam) are the other new faces.

Produced jointly by Whitesands Media and Mamasian Movies, Cinema Company is mainly about friendship and dreams.

Four friends come together from various backgrounds. Though they had no real plans to make a film, they decide to do it after a while. The other five are connected to them and have important roles to play as well.

The film's cast also includes Lalu Alex, Baburaj, Krishna and T P Madhavan. While Jacod did the cinematography, music for the film was composed by Alphons.
