Diganth, one of Kannada film industry's best looking actors, is all set to kickstart his career in the Hindi film industry. The actor is said to be debuting in a horror film. Titled 1920, the film will be directed by Vikram Bhat or someone from his team.
Prachi Desai is the leading lady.
It may be recalled that Diganth and Prachi were to do a film much earlier, but the project failed to take off. It is being said that the Kannada actor had been frequenting Mumbai quite often.
1920 will be shot in London and Rajasthan. It is expected to go on the floors in March.
Back home, the actor has Barfi to look forward to. His last successful venture was Lifeu Ishtene!
Is Ramya back in Neer Dose? Well, that's the buzz in the Kannada film industry. While the team is tightlipped about any such development, director Vijayprasad recently commented on a social networking site that his fans are in for a big surprise soon. This is when tongues started wagging about Ramya's probable return.
Vijayprasad and Ramya had worked together in Sidlingu. It was his professionalism and the role of a commercial sex worker that was offered to her that had initially motivated Ramya to take on the challenging project. Soon after, she opted out of the film, saying that she felt that she couldn't do justice to the role.
While speculation about her return is rife, there are rumours that Bhavana, who was in the film, is now considering leaving for reasons unknown.
Jaggesh is also a part of the cast.
If sources are to be believed, actor Duniya Vijay may not be a part of cameraman Krishna's ambitious project Gajapathy any more. This is the famed cinematographer's debut venture as a director.
While there is no proper confirmation regarding the fallout or the reason behind it, but if rumours are to be believed, Vijay's "attitude problems" have led to this development.
The actor has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. He recently sought a divorce from his wife and this led to a public debate. Then, he filed a complaint with the Editor's Guild against a TV channel for interviewing his three children for over ten hours regarding his divorce. He felt that it was violation of their rights and that post the interviews, his children felt traumatised.
It is being said that the actor's personal life is taking a toll on his professional life and hence his projects are taking a back seat.
All the same, on the professional front, up next is Rajanikantha. There is also his home production Jayammana Maga. He has also signed a Tamil film.
