Director K Madhu is known for taut thrillers like the well-known CBI Diarykurippu series.

In his forthcoming film, Banking Hours 10 am-4pm, Anoop Menon plays the lead along with Meghna Raj as the heroine.

"It's quite heartening that I am playing the lead in K Madhu sir's film, as he usually works with big stars. There are different shades to my role," says Anoop Menon.

K Madhu says the film is about "a thrilling incident happening inside a bank, during the course of a day. The day is a busy one and suddenly certain dramatic incidents happen.

"The cops, the criminals, the customers and the bank staff are all part of the story from then on. It is a suspense drama and we can't reveal more details now."

Anoop has some remarkable successes as actor, scenarist and lyricist.

How does it feel to act in a script written by someone else?

"Of course I love scripting but it is equally exciting to work in a project that has been conceived by someone else. There I face the camera as per the director's demands," he says.
