After giving hits like Son Of Sardaar, Dabangg 2, Rowdy Rathore last year, actress Sonakshi Sinha is looking forward to her debut in Telugu cinema. 

The Dabangg 2 actress has signed her first Telugu film titled Shivam opposite southern superstar Mahesh Babu.

Confirming the reports, Sinha tweeted: 'Wow! Lots of support from the south for my telegu debut - thanks guys!! Really looking forward to it... Feels like dabangg dejavu - debut with superstar, script I couldnt refuse, capable and intelligent director! Shoot starts later this year.. it's going to be a great journey :)'

The film will be produced by Ashwini Dutt and directed by Krish aka Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi.

Actress Rani Mukerji recently shot with Randeep Hooda for a Karan Johar short film titled Bombay Talkies

The film celebrates 100 years of Indian cinema and will also star Mujhse Fraandship Karoge actor Saqib Siddique.

Karan Johar tweeted: 'The young and talented @Saqibsaleem is working with me on my short film with Rani and Randeep...#bombaytalkies...give him love people!!'

Bombay Talkies, an ode to 100 years of Indian cinema, is a collection of short films directed by four prolific filmmakers -- Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar himself.

Ek Thi Dayan cast to visit Kumbh Mela

Big B's Gujarati film garners acclaim

Actor Amitabh Bachchan, who is the brand ambassador for Gujarat tourism, produced his first Gujarati film titled Saptapadii under his AB Corp banner. 

The film, released on February 1, stars television actors Manav Gohil and Swaroop Sampat in lead roles and has received a good response at the box office.
