Roopa Iyer planned the action sequences in the film based on the Kerala martial arts form, Kalari Payattu.

Shriya trained in this martial arts form for two months under Sagar Aasan. The results were for all to see in her action sequences with Prem.

The Kalari Payattu concept created by the director herself was choreographed by Ravi Varma.
