Shah Rukh Khan made his Hindi movie debut with Deewana in 1992 and has completed 20 years in the film industry.

The actor, who is presently shooting for Yash Chopra's untitled film in London, added a quote: 'Now getting late for work so need to rush. Love wot Marilyn Monroe said about time....i have been on a calendar but never on time.'
Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who has only been seen in item songs so far, is all set to make her Hindi feature film debut with Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai, releasing on June 29.
'My first Bollywood film DMKKH releasing on the 29th of June.....and the countdown starts now...8 more days to GO....too excited!!!' she tweeted.
The movie also marks the big screen debut of Raja Choudhary of Bigg Boss fame. Of course, Veena describes the film as entirely hers. 'DMKKH is gonna be purely VM's movie...entire story revolves around VM n VM............. played double role in it!!! I still remember how we had so much of fun while shooting DMKKH with the Great Jackie sheroff..vijay raj n shakti kapoor jee..great team!!!' she added.
Directed by Anand Balraj, the film also stars Jackie Shroff, Vijay Raaj and Shakti Kapoor.
Filmmakers Madhur Bhandarkar, Shyam Benegal and playwright Girish Karnad were honoured with Ganga Sharan Singh Award by President Pratibha Patil for their contribution to Hindi literature and cinema.
Touched by the gesture, Bhandarkar shared a picture of him with the President and wrote: 'Humbled by the support I get from people of all walks of life for the cinema I make. Always a great feeling 2 b motivated like this.'
The Ganga Sharan Singh Award is a literary honour, which is annually given to writers for their exceptional work in Hindi literature and to those who play a significant role in promoting the Hindi language through their area of expertise.
