Many Bollywood actors have suffered injuries on the sets of their films. We take a look.
Shah Rukh Khan was recently injured during the filming of his film, Happy New Year, at five-star hotel J W Marriott in Mumbai.
A door reportedly crashed on his head and right shoulder.
The actor had to be rushed to the neighbouring Nanavati hospital.
This is not the first time that an actor has been injured in a film shoot, and is not likely to be the last.
Many actors have suffered injuries, and some even have had to undergo surgery as a result.

Hrithik Roshan suffered a head injury while shooting for his film Bang Bang in Phuket, Thailand.
The actor leapt from a height of 30 feet into the water and hurt his head. Later, in July 2013, he had to undergo brain surgery.

Action is an integral part of Salman Khan's blockbusters.
But sometimes, they can take a toll on the actor's health.
During an action scene in Wanted, Salman tore a ligament on his right arm.
The injury worsened during another action scene in Dabangg, and he had to take a few days off.
Salman got yet another hand injury on the sets of his under-production film, Kick.
During a fight sequence in Gunday, Ranveer accidentally stepped on some glass splinters and his left foot started to bleed profusely. He was rushed to a doctor, and given three stitches.
During the shoot of the same film, Ranveer got a slash on his cheek, and needed a few stitches again.
Earlier, he injured his back on the sets of Lootera. The pain was so bad that he could not walk and had to be moved out of the location on a stretcher.
While shooting the climax scene of Shootout At Wadala, John Abraham almost had a fatal accident.
The actor was filming a gunfire scene.
Anil Kapoor was required to shoot a blank bullet from a minimum distance of 15 feet, but due to a blotch up by the team, the actor shot the bullet from a distance of 1.5 feet.
