"It's very easy to fall in love with Katrina Kaif on screen and off it," Salman Khan told the media during the launch of a new song Mahshallah from their film Ek Tha Tiger at Galaxy theatre in the western suburb of Bandra in Mumbai.
When a journalist said that real-life couples don't usually have good chemistry on screen, Salman quipped: "But were not a real life couple."
Besides Salman, Katrina and director Kabir Khan were also present.

Salman credited the song to Katrina's hard work. Then, he added with a wink: "I don't have to work hard, I'm very talented. Katrina had to rehearse for four days but not me!"
He added, "Katrina's success is because of her hard work. I don't have to work hard."
This will be Salman's first film with Yash Raj Films.
Kabir Khan claimed that they had no plans of visiting Pakistan after the country reportedly banned the trailer.
Khan clarified that the Pakistan government has not banned the trailer but it is in fact, awaiting an NOC, which is a regular procedure.
After doing quite a few item songs -- even Mashallah has the feel of an item song -- doesn't Katrina fear being typecast as an item girl? "I don't think so. I am the lead actress of this film," Katrina stated.
Salman immediately came to Katrina's rescue and said, "Katrina is doing favours to her friend. She did a favour to Karan Johar (by dancing to Chikni Chameli in Agneepath) and then to me (in Aaya re Aaya Bodyguard in Bodyguard). These songs are not item songs; they get popular and then people call them item songs. Her one-minute presence makes the film a hit!"
Then, he added sarcastically: "In Agneepath, Hrithik (Roshan) and Sanjay (Dutt) did not do any hard work. Even (producer) Karan Johar and (director) Karan Malhotra. It was Katrina who brought the audience to the theatres."
Has Salman become the 'Tiger' of Bollywood now?
"My parents named me Salman Khan and I love that name," he said. "My fans call me Sallu. Jackie (Shroff) had started calling me Sallu and then one day he came and called me, 'Saley'! I was shocked but I love Salman Khan. My name changes every Friday -- from Radhe to Chulbul Pandey to Lovely Singh, and now, Tiger."
Salman used the platform to pay tribute to late actor Dara Singh as well, and said: "I have met Dara Singh a few times. He is an amazing person. I know his sons Amrik and Vindoo very well. We have lost a nice human being. God bless his soul."
