Salman Khan: Happy that Suraj Pancholi got bail

Salman Khan took time off from the shooting of his film Mental to connect with fans on Twitter.

He said he would be skipping the IIFA awards, which kicks off on July 4, as he's shooting everyday.

'Hi ! All good. Sure @iifa wld rock. Cld nt b thr cs shooting every day. Saw the promo of issaq n loved it , it looks amazing,' the actor tweeted.

He also tweeted that he's happy for Suraj Pancholi, who was granted bail and finally went home. 'Aur kya ? Hmmmmmmmm ? Kuch nahi . challo u guys take care . Arre haan sooooo happy that sooraj got bail,' he signed off.

It is rumoured that Salman will launch Suraj Pancholi in the remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 hit film Hero.

Shah Rukh, Deepika visit Dance India Dance Supermoms sets!

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone visited the sets of reality show DID Supermoms to promote their upcoming film, Chennai Express.

Farah Khan, who is on the show's jury, tweeted: 'After 2 months of hospitals n ill health, finally bk on sets of @didsupermoms..also helps that @iamsrk n @deepikapadukone will b here 2day.'

Arjun, Irrfan, Huma Qureshi take D Day to Jaipur

The promotions for Nikhil Advani's next film D Day are on in full swing. 

Arjun Rampal shared a picture of himself with co-stars Huma Qureshi and Irrfan Khan and tweeted: 'Did it Rajasthani ishtlye @irrfan_k @humasqureshi and me earlier today in Jaipur for #DDay awareness.' 

Huma Qureshi shared a picture and added: 'The pink city gives us much love too much food n gupshup on D Day.'

The film is slated to release on July 19.

Asha Bhosle wishes Amit Kumar a happy birthday

Veteran singer Asha Bhosle wished Kishore Kumar's son and singer Amit Kumar on his 60th birthday today.

'Birthday Greetings to Amit Kumar Ganguly. Carried him in my arms when he was a baby. Remember Kishoreda's happiness at that time,' she tweeted.

'Ye Zameen Ga Rahi Hai sung by Amit. Music Pancham comes to mind,' she added.

Kumar, who occasionally sings for Bollywood films, last sang for Naino Me Sapna for Sajid Khan's movie Himmatwala.

Ram Gopal Varma unveils Satya 2

Ram Gopal Varma's critically-acclaimed film Satya completes 15 years today, and to mark the event, he released the first look of its sequel.

"'Satya 2' is about a man whose thinking starts where all the earlier real life Dons like Dawood ibrahims and Chota rajans thinkings ended," he tweeted.

"A man cald Satya came in 1998 got into the underworld and died.'Satya 2' is another man Satya who comes in 2013 to reinvent the underworld," he added.

The film stars Puneet, Mahesh Thakur and Anaika Soti.
