With legal hassles behind him for the time being, Salman Khan -- who turned 47 today -- left for his Panvel farmhouse for yet another birthday party.
Several fans had gathered outside his Galaxy Apartments residence in the Mumbai suburb of Bandra, to catch a glimpse of Sallubhai and wish him.
Like every year, the actor came out in his balcony, waved to his fans and thanked everyone for their wishes.
Salman left for his Panvel farmhouse in Navi Mumbai to spend his birthday in the company of family and close friends.
Earlier in the day, the actor was exempted from appearing in court for the 2002 hit-and-run case.
Salman's sister Arpita Khan and Alvira Khan Agnihotri made an appearance in court in the morning.
Lawyer and activist Aabha Singh, who had filed a petition before the court alleging that the actor was delaying the trial, was also spotted outside the court.
The hearing has now been adjourned till January 30.
A huge flower bouquet from the actor's fans was brought to his residence.
