Roja's Madhoo makes her comeback in a Telugu film
Madhoo, who made an impact with Mani Ratnam's Roja, has been away from the arc lights since her marriage. Though she appeared in a few Hindi films, she has not acted in Telugu or Tamil films.
Madhoo is ready to face the camera again in the Telugu film Anthaku Mundhu.. Aa Tharavatha directed by Indraganthi Mohankrishna and produced by Damodar Prasad.
She will act as the mother of hero Sumanth Ashwin (the son of well-known producer M S Raju who made his debut with Tuneega Tuneega).
Gouravam music launch at IPL match
The Telugu film industry is taking full advantage of the IPL season and releasing songs of forthcoming films during the Sunrisers Hyderabad matches.
The unit of Gouravam released their audio during the Hyderabad and Pune Warriors match.
Radhamohan directs this bi-lingual film produced by Prakash Raj's Duet Movies which marks the debut of Sirish (Allu Aravind's son and Allu Arjun's brother) and also of Yami Gautham in a Tamil film.
The event was marked by songs sung by Thaman SS followed by a dance by Sirish and Yami.
The title song of the Sushanth-Shanvi starrer Addaa, produced by Chinthalapudi Srinivasa Rao and Naga Susheela (Sushanth's mother and Nagarjuna's sister) and directed by Sai Karthik, was also released during the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Bangalore Royal Challengers match.
Sushanth, Shwetha Bharadwaj (who does an item song in the film), Baba Sehgal (who sings the song) and the team attended the event. Anoop Reubens composes music for this film.
Mahesh Babu's relative to debut in Telugu
Mahesh Babu's relatives are making their entry into filmdom. First it was Mahesh's brother-in-law, Sudhir, who made an impressive debut with SMS.
Now Krishna Maadhav, another relative of Mahesh Babu and nephew of minister Galla Aruna Kumari, is ready to enter with a film titled Hrudhayam Ekkadunnadhi.
Armed with a Master's degree from the US, Madhav has worked as assistant director in some of Mahesh's films.
Madhav's debut film, Hrudhayam Ekkadunnadhi, is being directed by Vi Anand, an associate director of A R Murugadoss. Anusha, an upcoming actress in Kannada films, and Samskruthi Shenoy, who acted in the Malayalam film Black Butterfly are the female leads in this film.
Vishal Chandrasekhar is the music director, Prasad G K the cinematographer, Sravan, the editor and Srikanth, the art director. The film is scheduled for a summer release.
