Bollywood stars are a fashionable lot. Sometimes, they look straight out of the fashion magazines but just that once in a while, they get it wrong. We decided to play fashion police, and take a closer look at how celebs stepped out last week.

Golden goddess

If her red sari-clad voluptuous avatar as Chammak Challo in Ra.One was any indication, Kareena Kapoor's size zero days are behind her.

While it may have worked wonders in the hit song, it just doesn't seem to be the case with this outfit. The actress turned up for Top Gear awards in automotive excellence in a Donna Karan silk dress.

It would have hung much better on her previously svelte frame but just looks messy here. You concur?

Vidya Balan looked chirpy at the success party of her new film The Dirty Picture, at Novotel in Juhu, a western Mumbai suburb.

We loved you in the film and the fact that you had the guts to dress up the way you did for the film and for its promotion but please pull out those Sabya saris and statement necklaces again, will you?

While the red lips and pulled back hair made her look apropos for the red carpet, the dress was a bit of a letdown. A leather belt to accentuate the waist would have salvaged the outfit a bit.

Freida Pinto attended the Chanel show in Paris wearing a blue feathery dress and black booties. The actress, who was clicked with Sonam Kapoor at the do, looked great in her outfit, like she does in almost all her appearances.

This girl does not so much as even contemplate a fashion misstep, we think!

Anushka Sharma looked every bit the star she's become when she attended her film Ladies vs Ricky Bahl's Dubai premiere in a dreamy Rachel Gilbert gown.

Complete with red lips and big hair, the actress was quite a draw at the red carpet.
