The younger generation of actors are quite a promising bunch, and most of them are bankable already. There is a lot of money riding on them, thanks to their big-budget upcoming films.

The talent, of course, was there from his first film, Band Baaja Baraat, and the accolades followed with Lootera.

However, a wide spread mass appeal had been missing in his profile. He's earned that with Ram Leela, which crossed the Rs 100 crore mark.

If the trailer is any indication, Gunday promises to be a certified hit.

Sushant made a confident debut with Kai Po Che.

He made eloping look fun with his next release Shuddh Desi Romance.

He's become a replacement for Hrithik Roshan, and filmmakers like Shekhar Kapoor have acknowledged his talent.

Plus, he has a part in Rajkumar Hirani's Peekay.

Never mind that a double role act in Aurangzeb did not win him any accolades but Arjun Kapoor is here to stay.

Arjun has as many as four films lined up next year, and all of them belong to different genres. 

Arjun will try action in Gunday, romance Alia Bhatt in 2 States, do a dark comedy called Finding Fanny Fernandes and then star in his home production Tevar, a remake of a south film.

For someone who started his career in a supporting role, Aditya Roy Kapoor has come a long way.

Aashiqui 2 turned out to be, unarguably, one of the most cost effective blockbusters of the year. The actor also did a wonderful job in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

But it will be his next release Daawat-e-Ishq, opposite Parineeti Chopra, that will be his litmus test.

Student Of The Year was a perfect start for Varun Dhawan.

Now, he will return to the big screen in his father David Dhawan's directorial venture Main Tera Hero, and expectations are pretty high.

Thanks to his filmi lineage, Varun could have signed many films. But he has wisely taken up only a couple. Good move.

Siddharth Malhotra may not belong to a filmi lineage, but he has the likes of Karan Johar putting their money on him. Ekta Kapoor also seems to have warmed up to him.

The trailer of his second film, Hasee Toh Phasee has been well-accepted.

With Villain, he is apparently taking on a complex role.

Ali Zafar made a good start with Tere Bin Laden, and showed us that he knew the business he was in. But when Chashme Baddoor released earlier this year and became a big hit, it was time for him to up the stakes.

Zafar, who has been named among the Top 50 Sexiest Asian Men in the world, will be seen in a comic outing called Total Siyaapa and then a Yash Raj film called Kill Dil.

A flop like Nautanki Saala notwithstanding, audiences still remember him as the adorable Vicky Donor.

The next few months are crucial for the actor, who doesn't have a sugar daddy in the industry.

He has a great opportunity ahead with Yash Raj's Bewakoofian that should help propel him to the next level.

Raj Kumar has made quite an impression in his early films Love Sex Aur Dhokha and Ragini MMS.

Even his supporting roles in Talaash and Gangs of Wasseypur got him noticed.

But this year's releases -- Kai Po Che and Shahid -- have put him in a different league. He has now changed his name to Rajkumarr Rao, Although his next is a Kangna-driven film -- Queen -- there are some interesting roles for him in the pipeline.
