Of Ranbir and his many link-ups

Bollywood's poster boy Ranbir Kapoor has everything going for him, both professionally and in his personal life. He's become one of the most bankable actors of the present times and his reputation as a Casanova has become a bit of a legend.

Nargis Fakhri

The newest in the line of pretty lasses that has sashayed in this Kapoor boy's life is his co-star from his upcoming film Rockstar, Nargis Fakhri. Ranbir reportedly got close to the model/actress from New York on the sets of the film.

But even before they could officially come out as a couple, they apparently broke up and Nargis is now allegedly dating model/actor Shayan Munshi.

Katrina Kaif

It's the classic case of perfect timing. Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor met on the sets of Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, when both of them had just come out of committed relationships. Katrina was seeing Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor was in a highly publicized relationship with Deepika Padukone.

The couple had allegedly been seeing each other on and off since then until Nargis Fakhri popped into their lives.

This, many believed, was a match made in heaven. They complimented each other and people loved their chemistry in Bachna Ae Haseeno -- the first and the only film they appeared together in.

But it wasn't meant to be. Insecurity, boredom and a roving eye were apparently the factors that wrecked havoc in the couple's love life. So Ranbir and Deepika called it quits and haven't been face-to-face ever since.

Before they debuted with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya, Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor were assistant directors on his 2005 film Black starring Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan.

The youngsters' romance never really took off as they went their separate ways after Saawariya.

Avantika Malik

In school, Ranbir was smitten by classmate Avantika Malik and was later seen hanging around the sets of Just Mohabbat, a show that aired on Sony Entertainment Television in the 1990s, starring Avantika, and produced by her mother Vandana Malik, who's the Executive Director of TV 18.

After a considerable time together, they called it quits, and Avantika moved on to Imran Khan.
