Director Rajasenan, who has churned out some notable hits in the past like Melapparambil Aanveedu, Aniyan Bava Chettan Bava, Aadyathe Kanmani and Ayalathe Adheham, has been going through a rough patch of late. He hopes to get back to his winning ways with Innaanu Aa Kalyanam (Today is the wedding) which releases this weekend.

The film stars Rejath Menen, Saranya Mohan and Malavika.

Innaanu Aa Kalyanam is being produced by Yohaan Production. The cinematographer is Vinod Illampally and the music director is Biji Bal.

The story is mainly about a wedding but a major part of the action takes place on an engineering college campus. My character is called Karthik and he comes from a rather modest background," says Rejath Menen, who made his debut as a hero in Kamal's Goal and was seen recently in Joshiy's Sevenes and K Biju's Dr. Love.

"I have played characters with a slight shade of grey in both my recent films, but here I am playing a nice guy. There is the love triangle of me, Saranya and Malavika. Some misunderstandings and confusions follow which has been handled in an interesting way by the director. I was engineering student myself not so long ago and it was like going back to the campus once again for all of us," says Rejath.

Saranya Mohan, who was recently seen in a key role as Vijay's sister in the Tamil super hit Velayudham, has not been successful in Malayalam. She hopes to make an impact with this film.

Malavika, who has done an acting course at Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares, was noticed in Vineeth Srinivasan's Malarvady Arts Club.

The cast also includes Sai Kumar, Rohini, Jagathy Sreekumar and Roshan.
