Rare pictures of Ash, Madhuri

Veteran photographer Pradeep Chandra has captured some well known subjects in interesting photographs that he will show off at an exhibition to be held at Mumbai's Le Meridien Hotel on December 3.

To get an unusual picture of Amitabh Bachchan, he brought a shoe polish boy right to the legend's bungalow and caught him adding a shine.

To get this picture of Madhuri Dixit, he asked the actress to put her birthday cake on as many books available at the venue -- all because he was not getting the proper height he wanted.

The exhibition will showcase 50 personalities of Maharashtra to celebrate 50 years of the state's creation. Some of the personalities include President of India Pratibha Patil and Sachin Tendulkar.
