Lisa Ray resumes cancer treatment
Image: Lisa RayLisa Ray, who was declared cancer free after a stem-cell transplant in 2010, is undergoing therapy and maintenance treatment.
The 40-year-old actress took to Twitter to update everyone about her health: 'As many of you know, I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2009. What you may not know is that Multiple Myeloma is a chronic condition which means I will always live with it. I have known since my diagnosis it is likely I would have to undergo treatments and maintenance therapy on a periodic basis.
'Several weeks ago it was determined by my doctors that I should begin a course of treatment, which I have already started. I feel wonderful, healthy and strong, I've switched to a plant-based diet and I'm active in a number of exciting projects which I will share over the next few months. Thanks for your love and support and treat this as an invitation to 'Make Myeloma Matter'!'
Ray, who got married to Jason Dehni last year, added: 'As my fabulous, inimitable husband puts it: 'I think of it as a tune-up'. Different protocol, married with choice.'

Arjun Rampal, who is busy promoting his new film Inkaar, met up with the chief minister of Gujurat Narendra Modi during a promotional event in Ahmedabad.
'Just met the dynamic CM Narendra Modi,what a lovely man,discussed many ways to try to make a better society. Thank you for ur insight, Sir,' he tweeted.
