Sunny Deol, whose new film Singh Saab The Great has opened in theatres, unveiled a wax statue of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh on his 106th birth anniversary on November 21 in Mumbai.
Incidentally, Deol played freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad in Guddu Dhanoa's 2002 biopic 23rd March 1931: Shaheed, based on Bhagat Singh's life. Bobby Deol had played the main lead.

Singer Sonu Nigam turned up in a rather unusual attire.
Director Anil Sharma, who previously directed Deol in his 2001 blockbuster Gadar: EK Prem Katha, was also present for the unveiling.
A first of its kind, the statue will be installed in Sunil Kandalloor's wax museum in Lonavla.
The museum also houses other waxworks including that of Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Shivaji Maharaj among others.
