Friends and family of veteran character actor Vinay Apte gathered in Andheri, a western Mumbai suburb, to attend the late actor's last rites and pay respects.
Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray turned up to bid the actor farewell.
Apte, 62, passed away following breathing problems in Mumbai's Kokilaben Ambani hospital on December 7 and is survived by wife Vayjayanti and son Vihaan.

Besides Marathi films, Apte was routinely seen in Prakash Jha's films including Chkaravyuh, Aarakshan and Rajneeti and was also a part of popular television show Madhubala starring Drashti Dhami in the lead role.
Marathi actor Sachin Khedekar, a well known face in Hindi television serials and films too, was also spotted.
Actress Reema Lagoo arrives to lend support to the bereaved family.
Character actor Anant Jog was also present.
